23 Sep 2015: Uploaded 130 documents with Horace Jayne's director's reports and correspondences in Penn Museum Miscellaneous

03 Sep 2015: Summer's over and it's back to more work on the site. We've got a few new volunteers and we've had two interns working a bit with UrCrowdsource material and with new material on Ur-Online. Here's a blog post about it at the Penn Museum

August 2014: Summer is a rather difficult time on an academic project due to people working in the field and elsewhere, but we have uploaded 160 new files to Royal Cemetery volume 9 and made blog posts related to the project, such as this one.

We also released a press announcement about an Ubaid period skeleton re-identified by the Ur project and a blog post with more information on the skeleton find.

27 Nov 2013: New blog post on Father Leon Legrain's journey home from Ur in 1925. Read it here.

11 Nov 2013: Created new collection: Royal Cemetery Notes, vol. 7 and added 55 files to it.

06 Nov 2013: Omeka and Scripto have been updated and tested. The errors we were experiencing appear to have been corrected. If you run into any errors, please let me know (whafford(at)sas.upenn.edu). There may still be errors due to traffic on the shared server, but direct problems with mediawiki should now be repaired.

23 Oct 2013: We have been experiencing a problem within the system that causes the Scripto button on the main page to malfunction. If you use this button to access your work, please use the browse or search functions to locate files to transcribe instead. We will be upgrading the system over the next few days and hope to have this problem solved soon.  Thanks!
